I had the privilege of leading a collaboration between the College of Design and 4-H Connect, aimed at showcasing the diversity of graphic design, our integration of natural elements into our work, and the spirit of collaboration fostered at Iowa State University. This initiative provided a valuable and enriching experience.

A fellow of my graphic design graduate students and I developed an interactive activity featuring typography, collage-making, and blending of various mediums. By reusing prints, supplies, and designs, we crafted a dynamic solution that spelled out "4-H Connect Retreat," enhancing the personal touch of the experience.

Engaging with the students and hearing their stories, aspirations, and reflections on their future was a deeply impactful experience. It reminded me of my own journey and the individuals who inspired and motivated me along the way. I am committed to fostering a positive impact within our vibrant community, continually striving to support and uplift those around me.
