This collection of works explores the emotional complexities of identity and belonging through four distinct solutions, each created from the same resources, resulting in complete expressions.
The project reflects the experience of having two homes, each with its culture, language, and people. The missing puzzle piece symbolizes the sense of something always being incomplete, while a book that is bound and unbound in multiple ways represents the fluidity of self as it shifts between places.
A wooden wall art piece inspired by traditional art explores the challenge of integrating cultural heritage with new surroundings. Similarly, a collage on a pillowcase represents the internal struggle of adjusting one's accent and identity to fit in. At the same time, hiding and blending in becomes both a survival mechanism and a source of personal conflict.
