A reaction in the opposite direction – Pulling as far away as we can from a car-centric world. What would it be like? Where would all that money go? What would your relationships transform into? A pooling of resources, made to emphasize the beauty of connection, no matter how unpractical the design seems, it is not about how it functions but what it is saying – made to build back communities, daily chats with your neighbors, traveling in groups, gaining back the time to do the things you don’t, re-introducing people into a world that isn’t as individualistic, a more connected world outside of our technologies – a world where people sit less and socialize more, a world where my last project ”The Elysian” is NOT needed.
